Kalina Robles was born in Irvine, California and raised in Palm Springs. Kalina began her dance training at the age of 3 but began her formal training at the age of 5 under the direction of Cynthia Kaye. She has studied multiple styles of dance including ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop.
By the age of 6, she was competing in multitudes of regional and national dance competitions such as Open Call, Youth America Grand Prix, Tremaine, World of Dance, and many more. Kalina’s love for teaching and choreographing began at the age of 16, when she had begun choreographing pieces for the Palm Springs High School Dance Team. She also served as Palm Springs High School Dance Team captain and was the Georgia Nelson Scholarship recipient her senior year.
Kalina’s ultimate goal in teaching is to create awareness within a dancer and developing artistry in all forms of dance. She is genuinely passionate about the art of dance and looks forward to sharing the love of dance with her students.
