About Us

Celebrating their remarkable 30th season of enriching the Desert community with the performing arts, CK Dance has proudly presented over 32 productions.

CK dancers have also brought joy to local senior centers, the Palm Springs Dance Project, and iconic venues like Disneyland. Over the past decade, these dancers have performed at the prestigious McCallum Theatre's "Open Call" and "Choreography Festival," proud to bring classical ballet to the Coachella Valley.

Throughout each year, we strive to preserve the ballet tradition and showcase the exceptional talents of our students. Our dancers’ dedication to excellence has earned them numerous awards and recognition.

Ballet & Pointe

Ballet is a beautiful dance style that blends classical music with graceful movements. Dancers warm up at the barre and learn a variety of technical skills and dance terminology.
Jazz

Jazz dance is a high-energy art form that stands out from classical ballet. With its dynamic liveliness, jazz dance is reminiscent of jazz music and encourages improvisation.
Contemporary

Contemporary dance is an innovative and expressive style that blends techniques from ballet, jazz, modern, and lyrical dance to create a unique and captivating form of interpretive dance.

Hip-hop dance is a dynamic style that blends freestyle movements to create a cultural art form. With popping, locking, and breaking as their primary styles, hip-hop dance has become a widely loved dance style.
